As we can see in the chart, almost 75% of the public buildings built area in the province of Castellón is given to structures that are neither schools, town halls nor local houses.

On the other hand, if we analyze the number of buildings, the percentage of Other buildings becomes around 62%, from which it can be deduced that the size of these buildings is usually greater than the rest of the public buildings.


Access for disabled people


Regarding the availability of access for disabled people, almost 2 out of 3 public buildings in the province of Castellón have some type of access enabled for them to access, which represents a relatively high percentage when compared to other provinces of same size.

La Pobla de Benifassà is the municipality with more public facilities (23), while Puebla de Arenoso closes the ranking of the 10 municipalities with the most public buildings with 11. In contrast, Torreblanca, with only one public building, is ranked as the the only municipality with a single public building, while the majority have 3 or 4 public facilities.

It is curious, however, that the municipality whose public facilities occupy the most surface area is Vilafranca, despite having only half as many buildings of this style as La Pobla, which in this statistic drops to position 42.
